PROCEDURES
 

      a.   Permanent Entry Pass

                       (1)       Applicants would apply for smart card as per the application form and procedure floated on the KPT
           website along with challan comprising KPT revenue.

(2).       Firm(Jaffar Brothers) after endorsement of applications on the Computer would forward applications to KPT,
            Central Pass Issuing Office  at the Head Office for  record /verification purposes .

(3)        KPT Central Pass Issuing Office  would send the applications to Securitization   Cell at Port Intelligence
            office for Security check / verification.

(4)        Securitization  Cell, Port Intelligence  office after scrutiny would send the applications back to KPT
            Central Pass Issuing Office .

(5)        KPT Central Pass Issuing Office , would endorse the record on the
             computer as scrutinized by the Port Intelligence Officer’s Office  and forward verified applications
             to the firms office (Jaffar Brothers) for development of smart cards.

 (6)       Firm’s Office (Jaffar Brothers) would call the applicant in person, take the
             photograph and develop the smart card and make the delivery in the
             prescribed period i.e. one week.

     b. Casual Entry Pass

        (1)       The applicant would submit following documents with the firm’s offices
                    established at  the gates:
               (a)   Firm letter / permit duly stamped.
               (b)   I D Card.
               (c)   Drivers License.
               (d)   Vehicle Registration Papers.

       (2)         Firm would endorse the required data on the computer and receive requisite
                    revenue  from the applicant.
       (3)        The firm would issue smart card to the applicant.
       (4)        The smart card would be retrieved from the applicant at the exit gate.
