Bids shall be received up to 1130Hrs of 03-09-2008 and will opened on the same day at 1200Hrs (Only Technical Offers). The bids accompanied by a bid security amounting to Rs 2.0 million shall be eligible for opening.

The firms, other than already pre-qualified and are interested in this work may also submit their bids as per above venue by providing following in addition to their bids:

a. Pay Order in the name of Chief Accounts Officer, KPT amounting to Rs 30,000.00 towards qualification document fee.

b. Bidder's qualification document / information.

1. Applications are invited for prequalification of National / International Civil Engineering Contractors registered with PEC in category (C-1) for the "Reconstruction of Morris Pier (Workshop Pier) at Manora"

2. Prequalification Documents may be obtained on a written request from the office of Chief Engineer, KPT on any working day on payment of Rs 25,000 through Pay Order in the name of Chief Accounts Officer

3. Karachi Port Trust reserves the right to reject any or all Bids without assigning any reason.
