The Karachi Port is administered by a Board of Trustees comprising of Chairman and 10 Trustees. The Chairman is appointed by the Federal Government. Out of the 10 Trustees, 5 are nominated by the Federal Government and 5 are nominated by various private sector organization representing the trade and commerce. The Chairman is also the Chief Executive of Karachi Port Trust.
